Debut in the Aston Martin Vantage GT3: Walkenhorst Motorsport announces first driver line-up for 2024

Melle, 15.12.2023 – Preparations for the 2024 season are in full swing at Walkenhorst Motorsport. The team from Melle announces the first driver line-up for the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS. Tim Creswick, Mex Jansen and Ben Green will compete in the Endurance Cup 2024 with the new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the Bronze Cup.

Niclas Königbauer (Managing Director | Walkenhorst Motorsport): “Tim, Mex and Ben are really looking forward to their premiere in the Aston Martin Vantage GT3. The entire Walkenhorst Motorsport team is already raring to go for the 2024 season. Together, we are looking forward to the season opener – and of course the collaboration with AMR.”

Tim Creswick expresses his enthusiasm about the upcoming season: “I’m really excited to be racing with Walkenhorst in 2024. The Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe pwrd. by AWS is a big stage, and the switch to Aston Martin for both me and the team comes at a fantastic time, with the introduction of the new car. I already had a chance to drive the 2024 car a few weeks ago, and I’m convinced we’ll have a really competitive package with Ben, Mex and the Walkenhorst team.”

Mex Jansen is equally full of anticipation and emphasizes: “I cannot wait to kick off the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe pwrd. by AWS season with Walkenhorst Motorsport and the new Aston Martin Vantage GT3. This presents an amazing opportunity for Ben, Tim, and me to demonstrate our racing skills on the challenging circuits in Europe. I know we will be competing in a strong field, but our goals are clear – to pursue victory and stand atop the podium as many times as we can. I am confident that we can make this season a great success!”

Ben Green is particularly excited about a new chapter in his still young career: “I’m really pleased to be starting a new chapter in my career with Walkenhorst Motorsport and Aston Martin Racing. It was a pleasure to race with the team at the final round of The Fanatec GT World Challenge pwrd. by AWS this season and I am confident with the new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 we will have a competitive package for 2024. I’m also looking forward to driving with Tim and Mex, who have both proven their speed in their respective classes.
