The BCMC Group and the Aston Martin team Walkenhorst Motorsport enter into a partnership.
Walkenhorst Motorsport welcomes a new strong partner for the 2024 season: the BCMC Group. The automotive broker from Oelsnitz in the Vogtland region will feature prominently on Walkenhorst Motorsport’s top car in the upcoming racing season.
The first talks between the BCMC Group and the two Walkenhorst Motorsport Managing Directors Niclas Königbauer and Jörg Breuer began two years ago. At that time, a project was planned for the 2023 season in the DTM Trophy, but this did not materialise due to the sale of the DTM and the discontinuation of the racing series. “We never lost sight of each other,” says Sebastian Genßler, Managing Partner of the BCMC Group. “We were always in friendly contact and constantly exchanged ideas about promoting young talent in motorsport.”
The foundation stone for the collaboration and partnership was finally laid in January. The idea: to bring the previous year’s winners of the ADAC GT4 Germany, German champion Mike David Ortmann and runner-up Denis Bulatov, to the ADAC GT Masters together. This goal was achieved and the two drivers will drive a brand new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the exclusive black and gold BCMC design. BCMC and Walkenhorst are thus focussing on promoting the young drivers in order to open up the best possible path for them in their careers.
In addition to the programme in the ADAC GT Masters, the BCMC design will be seen in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup and in endurance races on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife on the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 with starting number #34. The car driven by David Pittard, Ross Gunn and Henrique Chaves will compete in the Fanatec GT Europe in this colour scheme. On the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, Pittard, Christian Krognes, Kuba Giermaziak and Nicki Thiim will drive the car in the BCMC design.
The BCMC Group offers its customers their dream car immediately and without any waiting time. The car broker has access to over 10,000 brand-independent vehicles in the premium segment at any time. A special financing offer is customised for the customer’s specific needs. The BCMC Group takes care of the entire process, from the vehicle search to delivery or collection of the dream vehicle.
For the BCMC Group, the cooperation with Walkenhorst Motorsport is clearly focussed on marketing and looking after its own guests. To this end, the company has invested for the 2024 season and is bringing its own hospitality trailer to the race track – a 60m2 event location as the centrepiece of future BCMC events.
“We are delighted to welcome the BCMC Group as a new partner who is also very passionate about motorsport,” said Niclas Königbauer, Managing Director of Walkenhorst Motorsport. “With its own GT4 team, BCMC has also been able to gain its own experience in racing, so we can achieve a lot together. Our Aston Martin designed by the BCMC Group will definitely cause a stir in each of our racing series!”
