The two races on the N\u00fcrburgring Nordschleife will be an important preparation for the 24-hour race at the N\u00fcrburgring. As in the previous year, the two races also count towards the ADAC N\u00fcrburgring Langstrecken-Serie, meaning that important championship points are at stake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Our preparations for the 24-hour race have been going very well so far this year, but the additional race kilometres are still very important for us. I&#8217;m also very happy to be back in the cockpit of one of our Aston Martin Vantage GT3,\u2019 said team founder Henry Walkenhorst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Melle-based team will field a total of three Aston Martin Vantage GT3. The top car will be shared by the three factory drivers Christian Krognes, David Pittard and Mattia Drudi. Only Nicki Thiim, the fourth driver in the endurance classic in June, will not be able to compete in the ADAC 24h N\u00fcrburgring Qualifiers due to a clash with the DTM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anders Buchardt and Oliver S\u00f6derstr\u00f6m will start in the SP9 Pro-Am class. S\u00f6derstr\u00f6m, who also races for the team in the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup, will be competing on the Nordschleife in a GT3 car for the first time after obtaining his Permit A in the previous NLS races. Henry Walkenhorst, J\u00f6rg Breuer and Christian Bollrath will compete in the SP9 Am category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walkenhorst Motorsport&#8217;s line-up will be rounded off by the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 in the SP10 class. Aris Balanian, Jean-Christophe David and American Josh Hansen will take turns at the wheel of the production-based GT car.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018The ADAC 24h N\u00fcrburgring Qualifiers are extremely important for us in our preparations for the 24-hour race in June.
