Preliminary Report ADAC GT4 Oschersleben

Walkenhorst Motorsport with high expectations ahead of ADAC GT4 German premiere

The ADAC GT4 Germany premiere for Walkenhorst Motorsport takes place in Oschersleben. The team is attacking with two BMW M4 GT4s and has set high goals.

Oschersleben. The ADAC GT4 Germany starts this weekend in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. At the season opener, 29 vehicles from five different manufacturers are entered on the 3.667 kilometer track. Walkenhorst Motorsport will compete with two new BMW M4 GT4s.

For Walkenhorst Motorsport it is the first start in the ADAC GT4 Germany. The vehicle also celebrates its premiere. As part of the DTM, the team from Melle brings two top driver pairings into play who have set themselves the goal of fighting for the championship.

Nico Hantke and Mex Jansen take their places behind the wheel of the #34. Nico Hantke had made a name for himself with other manufacturers in GT4 in recent years. The young talent Mex Jansen completes the driver pairing.

The #35 will be driven by Sami-Matti Trogen and Enzo Joulié. Sami-Matti Trogen has been part of the Walkenhorst Motorsport family for years. He recently drove a flawless race at the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring and is now highly motivated to start in the ADAC GT4 Germany. Enzo Joulié has international GT4 experience and is therefore the perfect addition to the #35 car.

The races will be broadcast live on Sport1. The sessions can also be followed via the ADAC Live Stream.

Jörg Breuer: “Starting at the ADAC GT4 Germany is a premiere for us. It is a very exciting junior championship with a top field on the highly interesting DTM platform. We are very much looking forward to being able to take part with two BMW M4 GT4s. The pre-season tests have shown that our driver constellations harmonize perfectly. That’s why we hope to be able to fight for podium places. We are going into the season with high expectations.”

Nico Hantke: “I’m really looking forward to the first weekend of GT4 Germany and I’m highly motivated with my team-mate Mex and Walkenhorst Motorsport to attack this year and drive for victories. I think we have a very good car in the BMW M4 GT4 to attack at the front.”

Enzo Joulié: “I’m really happy to compete with Walkenhorst Motorsport at GT4 Germany 2023. Sharing my seat with Sami in the new BMW M4 GT4 gives me extra motivation. Our goal is to win the championship and we will do our best for it.”
