Preliminary Report 24h Nürburgring

Walkenhorst Motorsport is ready for the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring

At the 51st edition of the legendary ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring, four Walkenhorst Motorsport cars fight for victory in three categories.

Nürburgring. The motorsport spectacle of the year takes place in the Green Hell this weekend. The ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring attracts more than two hundred thousand fans to the Nordschleife. Walkenhorst Motorsport is providing a strong line-up of four vehicles for the 51st edition of the race.

The drivers of the two BMW M4 GT3 with the unmistakable Yokohama Advan design will fight for the overall victory of the prestigious event. Christian Krognes, Jakub Giermaziak, Jesse Krohn and Andy Soucek maneuver the #101. Thomas Neubauer, Jens Klingmann, Jake Dennis and Christian Krognes, who is driving twice, take their places behind the wheel of the #102.

The strong, international field of drivers includes 136 vehicles, 33 of which are fighting for the coveted trophy in the Pro category.

In the Pro-Am category, team owners Henry Walkenhorst and Jörg Breuer, together with Christian Bollrath and Sami-Matti Trogen, reckon they have good chances in the #100. The #74 BMW M4 GT4 is the fourth car from Walkenhorst Motorsport. It will be piloted by Florian Weber, Aris Balanian and Jarno D’Hauw.

The team is well prepared and has the goal clearly in mind, but the Nordschleife is known for its unpredictable weather changes and challenging track conditions. Now it is a matter of mastering the 24 hours as best as possible.

NITRO will broadcast the sessions live on TV. In addition, fans can follow the live timing and the stream at www.24h-rennen.de.

Jörg Breuer: “We made good use of the time between the qualifying race and the 24-hour race. As a team, we are well prepared. We are going into the race with extremely high anticipation and a lot of optimism and have a great line-up in all four cars, especially the Pro cars #101 and #102. In the Pro-Am class, too, we reckon we have a chance of making the podium. The BMW M4 GT4 in the SP10 category is also about podiums. Our team is looking forward to the weekend! With this in mind, I would like to once again thank all members of Walkenhorst Motorsport. As a driver, I’m obviously looking forward to the thousands of fans cheering us on. A big thank you also goes to the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring organization and to the marshals who make everything possible in the first place.”
