Walkenhorst Motorsport and Yokohama Rubber will join forces for the coming years.
Melle, December 25th, 2020. A very successful 2020 for Yokohama Rubber and Walkenhorst Motorsport on the german Nordschleife is behind them, in which Walkenhorst’s #34 BMW M6 GT3, which competes at the highest level in the SP9 Pro class of the NLS series, conquered the class championship with a dominant performance in the five races from June to August, including a first place, two second places, and a third place.
But in recent years it has also been very successful to set the current lap record (7:52.578) in the qualifying round with the BMW M6 GT3 and the slick Advan A005 tires.

Walkenhorst is proud to announce the participation of 3 BMW M6 GT3s for the entire NLS season 2021 as well as the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. Well-known Christian Krognes and David Pittard are confirmed by Walkenhorst and will do their best to tie in with 2020 results.
